William P. Cheshire, Jr., M.D

William P. Cheshire, Jr., is Consultant in Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and Associate Professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is Director of the Mayo Autonomic Reflex Laboratory and Past Chair of the Autonomic Nervous System Section of the American Academy of Neurology. He is also Consultant in Neuroethics at the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity, and serves on the Board of the Center for Bioethics and Culture.
Cheshire holds his A.B. in Biochemical Sciences from Princeton University, his M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity International University, and his M.D. from West Virginia University. He completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Pain at the University of North Carolina.
