Carlo Segre, Ph.D.
Advisory Panel

Carlo Segre is an Associate Dean in the Graduate College and a professor of physics in the Biological, Chemical, and Physical Sciences Department at Illinois Institute of Technology. He also serves on the Advisory Panel of IIT's Center on Nanotechnology and Society, is an active participant in the IIT Center for Synchrotron Radiation Research and Instrumentation (CSRRI), and serves as Deputy Director of the Materials Research Collaborative Access Team (MRCAT). He has been the Chair of the International Bridge Building Committee since 1992 and is the co-director of IIT's Innovative Master of Health Physics Program, which provides professional education for health physicists via the Internet. His research focuses on the structure and electronic properties of complex materials, including superconducting, magnetic and catalytic materials.
